Quality Assurance Engineer

Unify corporation is a leading supplier of client/server, graphical OO development tools for open systems, and is at the forefront of client/server technology with Unify VISION, our second generation client/server application development toolset. We are currently seeking candidates for openings in Quality Assurance.

Unify's technical center is located in Sacramento, CA. These positions can be based there or in our headquarters in San Jose.

Quality Assurance engineers at Unify participate in the entire development life cycle. You will be expected to learn multiple data base interfaces, deployment and development environments, and graphical testing tools. You will work with the most exciting client/server application development tools in the industry.

These positions require:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)
Very good technical skills, and ability to learn very quickly.

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

GUI testing
4GL programming
C development
UNIX RDBMS -- Unify 2000, Oracle, Sybase, INGRES, INFORMIX
WINDOWS RDBMS -- MS ACCESS, DBASE, Watcom SQL, etc...
GUI -- UNIFY VISION, Windows, X, Motif, Galaxy, Mac
